The Bonet river rises in Glenade Lake, and flows past Manorhamilton and Dromahair into Lough Gill.

Catch:Salmon & Brown Trout.

Great fishing is done for catches of Salmon and Brown trout. There is 1.5 miles of water downstream of Dromahair which is private, with another stretch above Lough Gill. Both these sections are not available to the public.

Season:

Brown trout are taken between February 15th - September 30th, while Salmon are caught from February 1st - September 30th.

Methods:

Usually fly fishing and spinning.
