Lough Derry is a rich lake with firm banks and contain a good stock of Bream up to 9 lbs together with some Tench, Roach, Rudd, Hybrids, Perch and Pike.

Season:

All year around.

All legal methods. No live bait with pike fishing.

The Derry is a small but rich lake and the fishing is done from the west side only for catches of good quality Bream. Other species include Roach, Hybrids and Pike.

Catch:Brown Trout.

The Derry Lake is 2 miles south of Knock and contains stocks of Brown trout. The fishing from the banks is rather difficult but boats are available to hire locally. The Cullentragh Lake is 2 miles west of Knock which also contains Brown trout.

Season:

Brown trout are caught during February 15th - October 10th.

Methods:

Usually fly fishing and spinning.
