The Enfield Blackwater river flow ins north to join the river Boyne.

Catch:Brown Trout.

This river is rich in limestone, and in places the banks are very high and difficult to fish in. Substantial stocks of Brown trout can be found here up to 0.75 lbs.

Season:

Brown trout are caught between May 01st- September 30th.

Fly and spin.
