Lough Erne is one of the biggest coarse fishing waters in Europe and has become popular as a competition venue for British anglers. Roach are everywhere with Bream, Perch, Rudd, Pike and Eels in abundance.

This is a big lake with a good run of salmon and trout. Anglers who come to Lough Erne can expect to catch trout well up into double figure weights. From July onwards there may be some grilse fishing. It is likely that grilse runs will improve due to a salmon enhancement programme currently being carried out.

Salmon fishing is during March 1st - September 30th.

Fly, spinning and worm fishing.

Cost: Permits can be obtained from the Fisheries Board
