The Loughs of Agraffard, Bofin, Aphreagaun and Cromlec can be found at the top of the Owenriff river and they lie to the south of the Oughterart to Maum Cross road.

Catch:Rudd, Perch, Bream, Roach, Hybrids, Pike & Eel.

These lakes are all large Shannon lakes and are heavily reeded with the best of the fishing done from a boat with some isolated swims being fished from the banks. Catches are for Bream, Roach, Rudd, Hybrids, Perch, Pike and Eel.
Season:

All year around.
Methods:

All legal methods. No live bait with Pike fishing.
Cost: Coarse fishing is free.

They all contain Brown trout, and the lower two of the Lough Agraffard and Lough Bofin both contain Salmon. They are acid lakes and the average size of trout is around 0.5 lbs.

Brown trout fishing is between March 1st - September 30th.
