Athboy river & Tremblestown river are tributaries of the river Boyne situated 1 mile from the town of Trim.

Catch:Brown Trout.

Large stocks of Brown trout can be found in this river, with some up to 12ozs. Fishing is strictly by riparian owners\' permission. Trim, Athboy and District Angling Club have access to fishing stretches.

Season:

Brown trout are caught between February 15th- September 15th.

Fly and spin.
