River Six Mile Water starts at Ballydare and enters Lough Neagh at Antrim Town.

Catch:Rainbow Trout & Brown Trout.

This river is under the Antrim District Association and some parts are free. This year the largest trout caught in fifteen years was fished, a dollaghan weighing in at 12.9lbs. There is a bag limit of 4 fish per day. Fish under 25.4 cm must be returned to the water.

Season:

Brown Trout between April - July plus September, Rainbow Trout from 1st March - 31st October.

Methods:

Bait fishing and spinning.
