Owenavorragh river can be found entering the sea at Courtown in Wexford.

Description:
Catch:Salmon, Sea Trout & Brown Trout.

Stretching 18 miles long, this river is slow flowing and contains some Salmon after the first flood in August, with a good run of Sea trout take between mid June to August. Brown trout are stocked in the river by the Owenavorragh Angling Club which lease part of the water from the tide up to about 1 mile upstream of Boleaney Bridge.

Season:

All species between March 15th - September 30th.

Methods:

Usually fly and spin.
