This river is a renowned sea trout and salmon fishery. The sole rights is controlled by the Faughan Anglers\' Association. There are two distinct parts of the fishery, the tidal area up to Faughan Bridge on the A2 Londonderry-Limavady Road, and the freshwater reaches upstream.

Methods:

Night fishing - fly only: day fishing - fly, spinning or worm bait only, no floats permitted.

Cost: Daily permit from Faughan Anglers' Association, 26A Carlisle Road, Londonderry, Tel: 0504 267781. Permits at £10 per day or £35 per week.
