River Colligan

Location:

The Colligan river can be found flowing into Dungarvan Bay crossing the main road between Lismore and Waterford.

Description:
Catch:Salmon, Sea Trout & Brown Trout.

This river contains both Salmon and rather large Sea trout which run during June and July. Runs of Grilse are also found in this water during July, with larger summer Salmon in September. The fishing is controlled at this river by the local Angling Club and permission must be sought.

Season:

Trout are taken between March 1st - September 30th. Fishing for Salmon and Sea trout is between February 1st - September 30th.
