River Ballysadare System

The Ballysadare river system can be found flowing into the sea at Ballysadare.

Catch:Salmon & Sea Trout.

The Ballysadare is draining a large catchment area, including Lough Arrow and Templehouse Lake into Ballysadare Bay. Fishing is for Salmon which takes place usually in the pools at the rear of the Ballysadare Falls. Small runs of Spring salmon are also contained in this river during April, with a large run of Grilse also being hooked from June on.

Salmon and Sea trout fishing is from February 1st - September 30th..

Usually fly fishing and spinning.
