Lough Eske can be located lying 3 miles north of Donegal town.

Catch:Salmon, Sea Trout & Brown Trout.

The Eske is 900 acres and has good fishing for small Brown trout, Sea trout and some runs of Spring salmon, Grilse and autumn fish. The best of the fishing is done from a boat, and access to the lake is to the north west side of the water. Boats can be hire from the hotel overlooking the water.

Season:

Trout are taken during March 1st - October 9th. Salmon fishing is from March 1st - September 30th.

Methods:

Usually fly fishing and spinning.
