This lake is lying in the Kerry mountains about 10 miles north-west of Kenmare. It is best approached by a small road running of the main road to Moll\'s Gap coming from Sneem. |

Access is good and it would be difficult to find a more beautiful setting, with mountains rising up on every side of the lough. It holds fighting brown trout up to 1 lb and some sea trout make their way up around August. |
