Lough Aunieren

Location:

The Lakes of Maumwee, Tanagh and Lough Aunierin are found in bogland lying between Maun Cross and Maum Bay on the north west of Lough Corrib.

Description:
Catch:Brown Trout.

They all have good fishing for Brown trout. The Tanagh requires a boat when fishing in it, due to the shore weeds, but the other two have clear shore where you can fly fish.

Season:

Brown trout fishing is between March 1st - September 30th.

Methods:

Fly and spinning.
