Description:
Catch:Dogfish, Flatfish, Ray, Bass, Conger, Pollack, Whiting, Tope, Monkfish, Common Skate & Mullet.

Dogfish, Flatfish, Ray and Bass can be taken by bottom fishing. From the rocks on the seaward side of viaduct catches can be made of Conger and Pollack. On the extreme end of the seaward side bottom fishing is also used for catching Dogfish, Flatfish, Ray, Whiting and Conger. Some Tope, Monkfish and Common Skate are also caught by this method. Mullet are caught when the water is high on the inside of the pier using small pieces of fish offal.

Season:

All year around, although the best time of year is between May to September.

Methods:

Spinning and bottom fishing with Mackerel strips.

Cost: No cost for off-shore fishing. Boat charter varies between 200 Euro - 300 Euro per boat, suitable for 4-8 people.
