Doolin beach is situated north of the Cliffs of Moher at Hook Head north of Co. Claire and enjoys an excellent reputation for its shore fishing.

Description:
Catch:Bass, Flatfish, Dogfish & Mackerel.

This rocky coastline is interspersed with west facing storm beaches from which beach fishing is for Bass, Flatfish and Dogfish. Spinning is used at the northern end of the beach for Bass and Mackerel.

Season:

All year around, although the best time of year is between May to September.

Methods:

Spinning and bottom fishing with Mackerel strips.

Cost: No cost for off-shore fishing. Boat charter varies between 200 Euro - 300 Euro per boat, suitable for 4-8 people.
