| Description: | Drumcovitt House is a listed Georgian country house built in 1796 onto an existing one hundred year old, 4 storey farm house. It is encircled by trees - the Beeches were planted to celebrate the victory at Waterloo in 1815. The farms is 103 hectares containing arable, grazing, copses, a wooded glen and a small area of bog containing examples of semi-endangered plants. Birds, large and small, residential and migratory abound. |
| Facilities: | The 300 year old House does not offer tiny "en suite"facilities, instead along the landing there is a bathroom with a bath, shower, wash basin and toilet. in addition, there is also a converted bedroom which is now home to a shower cubicle, wash basin, toilet and most importantlly of all, space to move about in! The maximum number of bed & breakfast guests we cater for is six. We normally ask the first arrivals to designate their choice of bathroom or shower room for their stay. |
