| Distinctive little fish with bright red colouration and two dorsal fins. The second dorsal fin and the anal fins are almost symmetrical.. The first dorsal fin has 8-10 membrane bound spines with the first one distinctively shorter than the subsequent ones. | It is rare (if ever) that this fish has been caught from the shore. Lugworm, ragworm or mackerel strips will work. Although they are a lovely eating fish please be kind and release this beautiful little fish once caught. |
